INFORMATION
I'm not going to use the words "storyteller", "authentic", or "raw" to describe my work —
not because I don't think they fit, but because I think they're starting to become words for the masses. Maybe a little empty. So what do you do? Nothing. You just do you...focus on the artistry you have to give and the way you see the world around you and hopefully people connect with it. In a few words? I do real, honest, light with some dark. I like unexpected venues, ring bearer roles fulfilled by your dog, giant hugs, and old-school playlists. I do ugly cries, crafted cocktails, mom having to get her glasses to button up your dress. I like the in-between and focusing on how it feels.
I'm privileged to have met people along the way that feel a genuine connection to this and the images I've captured. That's all I could ever want out of this. However you found me, I'm glad you're here...take a look around. Get to know me, my work and then hopefully together we can create a little magic.
SHOOTING PHILOSOPHY.
Photography has changed the way I see things, the way I create memories, and navigate throughout this world. However, it’s not all about me — getting your photo taken is an experience in itself and I aim high. I love and want to be involved in every aspect of getting you in front of my camera. From your initial inquiry to booking, from sharing your vision to actually shooting, I enjoy being involved in the excitement of it all. I believe there are ways for my clients to set me up for success so I can be totally hands off the day of the shoot and deliver images that we are both proud of. I'm not there to run the show — I'm there to ingest, translate, and give back what I see.
Because of this, I try hard to only take on work that inspires me and keeps me waking up every day excited about what I get to do.
